ICROA & IETA co-hosted a webinar with Ecosystem Marketplace to present their latest report ‘Buying In: Taking Stock of the Role of Offsets in Corporate Carbon Strategies’. The webinar discussed the the top voluntary offset buyers; Scope 3 emissions; companies' use of internal carbon pricing; emerging compliance carbon markets that include offsetting; and more. Tom Owino from ClimateCare represented ICROA at this year’s Africa Carbon Forum, held from 28th – 30th June in Kigali, Rwanda. Tom was part of a panel session titled ‘Private Sector Role in Financing and Implementing Climate Change Initiatives’.
